1. Acceptance

By creating an account or installing the SysWP Shield WordPress plugin you agree to these Terms with SYSWP / SYSWP BR.

2. The service

SysWP Shield is a WordPress security plugin combined with a SaaS that provides license validation, multi-site management, and a collective threat-intelligence network.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
You agree to provide accurate registration information.
You are responsible for keeping your password and API credentials secure.
One account per organization. Sharing accounts across companies is not permitted.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed via Stripe.

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
You can cancel anytime from the customer portal. Your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period.
Refunds are issued for the unused portion of an annual plan within 14 days of the most recent payment, on request to support.
Prices are listed in USD. Local taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) may apply and are added at checkout by Stripe.
We may change pricing with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions continue at their current rate until renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Use the service to attack, probe, or harm any third party.
Resell the service or grant access to non-paying parties.
Scrape, mirror, or reverse-engineer the SaaS dashboard.
Circumvent license checks or feature gates.
Use the service for any illegal purpose.

6. Threat-intelligence network

When you enable the threat-intel write feature, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the IP addresses and signal data your sites report to compute and distribute consensus blocklists. We do not require ownership of the data — only the right to use it for the network.

7. Intellectual property

The plugin source code is licensed under GPL v2 or later. The SaaS source code, brand, and threat-intel database are proprietary.

8. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". No security tool is perfect; we make no warranty that all attacks will be blocked or that your site will never be compromised.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms with reasonable notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brasil. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration in that jurisdiction, in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Portuguese (or English upon mutual agreement). Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
